		Founded in 1998, Profiles of Bermuda specializes in providing businesses and individuals with objective data through professional assessments to make better career and hiring decisions. Profiles of Bermuda , an affiliate of Profiles Caribbean Inc., and partner with Profiles International, Inc., market the full range of Profiles’ assessment products. Cordell Riley, Director, is a former Senior Research Statistician with the Government of Bermuda, where he worked on the Census and the Adult Literacy and Lifeskills Survey. His background as a researcher and statistician made a good fit for a career that promotes the use of psychometric, analytical software to produce human resource assessments for individuals and companies.
Before his years in the Statistics Department, he spent eight years in the Ministry of Tourism as the Market Research Officer. A self-described optimist; Cordell sees considerable scope for expanding his business through "Strategic Life Planning" and "Career Skills for the New Economy" seminars. He believes that career assessments can be of broad help to people in Bermuda. Peter Downes, who works with Cordell Riley, has had a broad and successful career in business. A chartered accountant by profession, he holds an honors degree in accounting and is a certified member of the society of Management Accountants in Canada as well as a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Barbados. Downes has over 17 years senior management experience and prior to taking the bold step to establish Profiles Caribbean Inc., he was the President and CEO of a leading life insurance company in the Caribbean.
